Last Saturday, we
arrived at the beach early to find a good spot. The weather was warm and sunny, making it a perfect day for the beach. After we set get up our towels and umbrellas, we put on sunscreen to protect our skin. My little brother, Jake, was excited about swimming in the ocean and trying his new surfboard. I started building a sandcastle with my hands while Jake was in the water. Later, we played volleyball after having our picnic lunch, I had a new ball for it. It was hard work, but I was proud of the sandcastle I had made.

Last summer, my family and I went to the beach for a week. We traveled to a beautiful coastal town that was known for its clear water and sandy beaches. One of the best parts of the vacation was when we went on a boat tour. We saw dolphins jumping in the water and even spotted a sea turtle swimming nearby. It was an amazing experience! In the afternoons, we visited local shops and tried some delicious seafood. I loved the fresh fish and shrimp we had for dinner.
On the last day, we took a trip to a nearby lighthouse. The view from the top was incredible, and we could see the whole town and the ocean. We spent some time taking photos and enjoying the scenery before heading back to the hotel.
It was a fantastic vacation, and I can't wait to go back next year!
